I love parrotlets! They have so much character for such tiny birds. My little Napoleon the Great (parrotlet male) died last summer for some kind of illness and he surely left a huge gap to the flock.

Yep. I understand that. I had a parakeet when I was younger. I didn't even want to look at another bird for along time after that. Then a friend gave me a cockatiel they found. Then last year I saw a kid's program about parrotlets and decide I had to have one, but didn't know where to get one. A week later a parrot store opened up. And they had parrotlets. So, I brought a green-rump male home with me. 6 months later, I brought home a blue female. She's a little sweetheart, even though she's an attention hog. She won't let me put her down to type. xD I have to type with one hand.
